TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

1. MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY

a. The Pro-Tech Dealer Program is offered at Cooper&Hunter's sole discretion.

b. The program is available exclusively to HVAC Certified, Licensed Contractors, and

Technicians.

c. Cooper&Hunter reserves the right to cancel a member’s account if there is suspicion of fraud,

malice, or bad conduct.

d. No purchase is necessary to join the program.

 

2. ENROLLMENT AND ACTIVATION

a. Eligible individuals must enroll in the Pro-Tech Dealer Program through the

Cooper&Hunter website at www.cooperandhunter.us/protech.

b. Upon successful enrollment into the program, a verification process is conducted by

Cooper&Hunter in order to validate each applicant. Once confirmed and accepted, a “Certificate

of Excellence”, along with a Welcome Letter, will be sent to each Member. Active members can

then begin to register for warranties of the Cooper&Hunter systems and start earning points to

qualify for membership Tiers.

c. Tiers will be assigned each January, following the year in which membership was established

and systems were registered. The qualification for each Tier is based on the purchased and registered

Cooper&Hunter systems throughout the previous calendar year while being an active member

of the Pro-Tech Dealer Program.

d. The term “systems”, as mentioned in this program, refers to the combination of an Outdoor

Unit with one or more Indoor Units. The registration of a sole unit will not earn points nor count

towards credit for Tier qualification. The number of points earned will be based on the number

of BTUs a system will carry.

e. Memberships are non-transferable and cannot be carried over to a different company.

f. Only one account may be associated with a single member/company and a single email address.

g. Each member of the Pro-Tech Program holds the responsibility of registering and activating

Each product warranty must be entered into the program’s portal to maintain an active status.

h. Cooper&Hunter shall not be held responsible for any unauthorized use of a Member’s account for

purchases, rewards, or release of information, and encourages members to keep their account

security details safe and secure. Requests for compensation of such unauthorized purchases will

not be accepted by Cooper&Hunter.

 

3. REWARDS AND BENEFITS

a. Once a member account is successfully created and verified, the member will automatically be

awarded initial bonus points as a reward for opening the account. Once you reach the Verified

Pro Tier, your business will also be listed on Cooper&Hunter’s “Locator” page on the website,

where clients can find you based on your location. Gold Members will have priority placement.

b. Each time a unit is installed and registered through the Pro-Tech Dealer Program, points are

calculated, based on the Table listed at the end of this section, and awarded to the account.

c. Merchandise available for purchase with your accumulated points will be listed in the “Pro-Tech Dealer Shop” and will change periodically, based on availability.

d. The Extended Warranties are offered to members for indoor and outdoor units in relation to

the specific Tier in which they qualify. The extensions will apply as follows: 10/10 Years for units

registered while membership status is Dealer Select, 10/10 Years for units registered while

membership status is Verified Pro, and 12/12 Years for units registered while membership status

is Gold. The Extended Warranty given through the Pro-Tech Dealer Program cannot be combined

with other Extended Warranty programs, such as the “Special Projects Extended Warranty.” You

must be a standing member in the program to qualify for the “Extended Warranty” offered

through the Pro-Tech Dealer Program. Units registered before membership has been established

will not qualify.

e. The sponsored events hosted by Cooper&Hunter for which Gold members have access to will

be scheduled throughout the year. They are carefully planned and announced with ample time

for members to receive and accept written invitations. For certain events, Cooper&Hunter may

choose to limit the number of guests included, due to certain restrictions imposed by the venues

where events are being held. Whenever Cooper&Hunter is covering the cost of travel and/or

lodging, Cooper&Hunter reserves the right to choose the specific lodging house and the amount

to be reimbursed for travel costs.

4. TERMINATION, LIMITATIONS, OR SUSPENSIONS

a. Cooper&Hunter reserves the right to terminate your membership in the Rewards Program if

You violate any of the terms and conditions of the program, including but not limited to:

• Engaging in fraudulent activity or abuse of the program

• Providing false or misleading information

• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

• Breaching any of the terms and conditions of the program

b. If Cooper&Hunter determines that you have breached any of the terms and conditions of the

program, we may, at our sole discretion, terminate your membership and forfeit any rewards or

points that you have earned. We may also take legal action against you if we believe that you

have engaged in fraudulent activity or abuse of the program.

c. Cooper&Hunter reserves the right to modify or terminate the Rewards Program at any time,

with or without notice to you. If we terminate the program, we will provide you with notice of

termination and give you a reasonable amount of time to redeem any rewards or points that you

have earned before the program is terminated.
